Volunteer Work at the YWAM Guadalajara Base in Chapala
Winters 2005-18

The YWAM Guadalajara Mexico base is located just north of Chapala, and was started in the late 1990s.
Almost all the beautiful buildings now on the base were built by volunteer labor, with materials bought with donated funds.
Most of the volunteer labor and much of the funding came from Lancaster County Pennsylvania,
working through an organization called PA Mission Builder
Many other workers came from all over the world working through Mission Builders International
Though most of the volunteers work on projects on the base, some of them build small Homes for families at a very poor village nearby.
Still other volunteers help at a nearby Orphanage.

The Volunteers also have time on weekends to experience Mexican Life first hand in the nearby villages and cities.
